This is more than a community event. It is a high-impact day created to connect rural veterans and families with the resources, organizations, and encouragement they deserve right where they are. The VA will be onsite providing enrollment and outreach, while local partners and support organizations show up ready to serve.

for Rural Heroes
Families can enjoy a full day of fun with inflatables, a kids’ play place, face painting, crafts, DJ music, food trucks, and dessert trucks, all kicked off by the Native American Women Warriors Color Guard.
Beyond Blue NC will offer blood pressure screenings, Peak Performance Physical Therapy will provide free physical therapy screenings, and the Robert Irvine Foundation will help bring people together through Breaking Bread with Heroes.
