Sometimes, the hardest person to forgive is yourself. Regret and guilt can feel like chains, holding you back from the life God is calling you to live. But here’s the truth: Jesus didn’t just die for your sins—He rose so you could live free from their weight.
The Apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 3:13-14, “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
God isn’t asking you to carry yesterday’s burdens. He’s asking you to step into His grace today. So, release the shame. Lay it at His feet. Trust that His mercy is new every morning, and He has already declared you forgiven.
Forgiving yourself isn’t about ignoring your past—it’s about acknowledging God’s work in your life and trusting His plan to redeem every part of your story.
Today, let go. Step forward. Live free.
